LNew York State Senator Liz Krueger, an outspoken advocate for cannabis and the lead sponsor of the “Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act” is returns to The Green Rush this week! After it looked like 2019 would finally be the year that New York would legalize adult use cannabis, the state legislature was unable to find common ground on a number of issues and failed to pass a bill that would satisfy the Democratic majority. Senator Krueger, who previously appeared on The Green Rush back in 2018, joins Lewis and guest host, Gretchen Gailey, to discuss what went wrong and what needs to happen in 2020 to get full legalization passed in the state.
